Suspend from stable branch approx. 2 - 3 feet from the bottom of the feeder to the ground. Tie off base around tree trunk to stabilize.

HELPFUL TIP
For early season and rainy conditions, you may consider adding a simple shelter to keep feed dry. Construct with limbs, plywood or whatever might be available. Suspend bottom of feeder 2-3 feet off the ground.
